How will I benefit from joining Borrowbrook?

Research shows that doing physical activity, taking part in interesting activities, and chatting with other people is essential for everyone’s physical and mental health.

  • Borrowbrook will help you to feel connected to your local community, to find new friends, and find people who will listen to you and care about you. You will always have someone to turn to if you need advice or a listening ear. Rachel is only a phone call away.
  • Borrowbrook’s services are for anyone aged 60 or over who lives in Ockbrook or Borrowash.
  • When you’ve joined us, you will get a FREE monthly copy of our magazine and you can use any of our services. We do make a charge for some activities such as trips and lunches.
  • If you need help or advice, or just feel like a chat you can either phone Rachel or you can pop into the office to see her. Rachel would love to hear from you!
  • Borrowbrook is here to serve all older people in our community and we welcome everyone regardless of disability, sexual orientation, gender or ethnicity.
  • If you think we can help you in any way please contact Rachel.

Joining us is FREE and it’s simple.

We just need your name, address and telephone number and all you need to do is fill out the form below (link to it). Alternatively you can give us a call on 01332 280111 and speak to our project coordinator Rachel. Someone else can contact us for you with this information, but we’d need to speak to you later to confirm you’re happy to join us.
